So, let’s get into them.
General Questions
A celebrant is a professional ceremony creator and officiant who crafts and conducts personalised ceremonies for important life events such as weddings, funerals, and namings. Unlike registrars or religious officials, celebrants aren't bound by legal or religious requirements, giving you complete freedom to create a ceremony that truly reflects you.
Wedding Ceremony Questions
I create and lead your wedding ceremony.
That means far more than simply turning up on the day and reading a script.
I get to know you, find out what you want from the ceremony, help you make decisions about its structure and content and then write something specifically for you.
We can work on vows, readings, music, entrances, ring exchanges, family involvement, symbolic elements and all those little details that turn a ceremony into your ceremony.
Then, on the day, I’m the person standing at the front making it all happen.

Booking Your Wedding Celebrant
As soon as you know you want me.
Popular wedding dates can book well in advance, particularly Saturdays during the main wedding season.
But there is no harm in asking about a date that is only a few weeks or months away either.
If I’m free, I’m free.
Funeral Celebrant FAQs For Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire
I work with families to create and lead personalised funeral ceremonies, memorial tributes and celebration of life ceremonies to honour loved ones who have passed away.
That begins with listening.
I want to understand who the person was, the life they lived, the people around them and the stories and details that should be remembered.
I then bring those elements together into a ceremony with the appropriate words, music, readings, tributes and contributions.
Funeral Ceremonies
Celebration Of Life & Memorial Ceremony FAQs
A celebration of life is an opportunity to bring people together to remember someone who has died.
It may take place instead of a traditional funeral ceremony or separately afterwards.
It can be structured and ceremonial or considerably more informal.
The important thing is that it gives family and friends a proper opportunity to gather, remember and mark the person's life.
Naming Ceremony Questions
There's no right or wrong age. Some families choose to have a naming ceremony when their baby is a few months old, similar to a traditional christening. Others wait until their child is a toddler or older. Naming ceremonies are also perfect for celebrating adoptions or blending families, regardless of the child's age.
